Messiah Performance

The Greenville Choral Union 88th performance of Handel’s Messiah is Sunday, December 2, at 4:00 p.m., in the Whitlock Music Center. Seating begins at 3:30 p.m. and an offering will be taken to help defray expenses. A reception follows the concert in the Tidball Alumni House. For more information, call 664-6560.

Toy Auction

There is a toy auction Sunday, December 2, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., in the St. Nicholas Hall in Pocahontas. The auction features all new toys, Christmas decorations, house wares, bedding, candy, pantry items, and much more. Food will be available. Proceeds benefit the Bond County Secret Santa Society and the Pocahontas-Old Ripley fire Department.
