MJ's SON EXPECTED TO ATTEND UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS
Michael Jordan's son has reportedly made his choice of where he will play college ball. The "Chicago Tribune" is reporting that Jeff Jordan is expected to announce that he will attend the University of Illinois as a walk-on. He also plans to enroll for the summer session. Jeff Jordan played his high school career at Wilmette's Loyola Academy as a three-year starter and averaged 15 points a game. He recently turned down scholarships to Valparaiso and Loyola University

David M. Rommerskirchen, age 68 of Pocahontas, passed away Saturday evening at his residence. Funeral Services for David Rommerskirchen will be held Thursday at 11AM at the First United Methodist Church in Pocahontas. Interment will be in Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 PM at May Funeral Home in Pocahontas, and also Thursday from 10 to 11AM at the church. Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.

VIRGINIA "JENNY" HUNTINGTON
Virginia "Jenny" Huntington, age 67 of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, April 28th at St. Louis University Hospital. She was the sister of Neta Heflin of Keyesport, Jerry Prater of Donnellson, and John Prater of Greenville. Graveside services for 67 -year-old Virginia "Jenny" Huntington will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family.
