PUBLIC MEETING FOR POSSIBLE SECOND LAKE
There has been talk about a second lake being constructed in Bond County, for both residential and commercial use. There will be a public meeting, Thursday, January 31st, at 7PM, at the Greenville Free Methodist Church. This meeting is to gather information from the public and provide information to the public. No policy or plan is yet in place to build or not build a second lake for Greenville private and commercial water use.
Mayor Gaffner said a reason to look so far ahead on this issue is that a new lake could take years to construct and then fill. Again, the public meeting will be Thursday, January 31st,at the Greenville Free Methodist Church, at 7PM.
