GARAGE HOUSE FIRE OVER THE WEEKEND
Keyesport, Greenville and Smithboro firefighters were called to a Garage House fire on route 127 just South of Hookdale road Saturday morning. Firefighters were paged to that fire around 7am. According to the report the fire started in an attached Garage and effected the house, which is the residence of Kirsten Stark. The Garage was a total loss. The house did not receive fire damage, however there was a lot of smoke and water damage to the exterior walls and roofing shingles. Firefighters were on the scene for just over two hours.

CENTRAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH TO HOLD MEETINGS
Evangelist and author, Jim McGrew, author of "God's Love in 3-Dimensions," is coming to Greenville for a three-day meeting at the Central Christian Church, located at 205 South Prairie Street. Randy Whitehead, Pastor of the Mulberry Grove Church of Christ, will provide special music. The series of meetings will be March 19-21, beginning at 7:00 PM each night.
EARLY DISMISSAL AND SPRING BREAK FOR UNIT 2 STUDENTS
The Bond County Unit 2 School District has announced a student attendance adjustment in order to have parent teacher conferences and begin Spring Break. On Wednesday, March 19th and Thursday, March 20th, students at the Greenville Elementary, Pocahontas and Sorento centers will dismiss at 12:30PM; Greenville Jr. High will dismiss at 12:35PM; and the Unit 2 High School will dismiss at 12:37PM.
The Greenville Elementary Early Childhood Class will run a regular schedule both days. However, AM and PM KRP students will not be in attendance throughout the district. Parent conferences will be held from 1-6PM.
Unit 2 Students will then have no school on Friday, March 21st for the start of Spring Break. School will resume at all centers Thursday, March 27th.
