MULBERRY GROVE VILLAGE BOARD SPECIAL MEETING
At a special meeting Monday night, the Mulberry Grove Village Board adopted the revised Animal Control Ordinance. Following signing of the ordinance, residents will have 60 days to comply with its specifications.
A Freedom of Information Ordinance was also accepted, identifying materials available to residents and setting the time frame in which requested documents might be obtained.
The Board discussed specifications for a Rental Property Inspection Ordinance. Action on a final version, including fees and fines, will be taken at a later meeting.
The Board reviewed bids to trim around stones in the Mulberry Grove Cemetery. Action was taken to accept Jason Bone's bid, contingent upon proof of insurance.
Bids will be accepted for hay mowing of the property around the cell phone tower, south of town. Bids must be received by August 6th.
Due to activities at the Bond County Fair, the August 4th meeting is tentatively set for August 6th.
