SENATOR FRANK WATSON ON BURRIS APPOINTED TO SENATE

How does our State Senator Frank Watson feel about the Governor's appointment of Roland Burris to the U.S. Senate? WGEL talked to Frank to get his response and he says simply, it’s a shame. He is disappointed in Burris for accepting the seat. He shouldn’t have even considered it. The U.S Senate said they’re not going to seat whoever is appointed. Watson says all it does is make us look more like fools then we already are. He says we’re going down a path where we are the laughing stock of the country.
