ART WALK ON THE GREENVILLE SQUARE
It’s an annual art event and it starts tonight at 5:00 p.m. on the Greenville square. The Our Common Ground ArtWalk includes multiple events and venues, and has something for everyone. There will be wine tasting, live music from Jazz to Contemporary Christian, and food for a wide range of tastes. An auction at the Northcott House will include multiple autographed items from Gretchen Wilson, including a hand written and autographed copy of the lyrics to Redneck Woman. The ex-pat art show or former local artists will also be at the Northcott. Other locations in and around the square are also included in the ArtWalk. MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Illinois State Police have released details about a motorcycle accident involving a Litchfield man. Illinois State Police responded at 9:03 p.m. Saturday, September 19, to a motorcycle accident in Montgomery County. Scott A. Young, age 44 of Litchfield, was northbound on East Frontage Road at North 16th Avenue when the 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was riding left the road on the east side of 16th Avenue. Young, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the cycle as it overturned several times. Litchfield Ambulance transported Young to St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield with serious injuries.

FORMER MANAGER OF HEATING AND COOLING COMPANY PLEADS GUILTY TO CHARGES
Mary R. Storer, age 40, former office manager of Elk Heating and Sheet Metal, Inc. in Madison County, pled guilty this week to four counts. The indictment charged her with tax evasion, failure to file federal income tax returns, embezzlement from an employee benefit plan and failure to pay employment taxes. The convictions carry a maximum possible penalty of up to sixteen years in prison, three years supervised release and mandatory restitution. Sentencing is scheduled for January 7, 2010.
