DOWNED POWER LINES CAUSES POWER OUTAGES

City workers, Greenville Firemen and Ameren crews worked at several locations that had power outages Monday afternoon. The first power loss was on Ward Street and was caused by a split tree that gave way during the high winds. The second outage was on Killarney Street. The outage on Killarney only caused street light outages, but several residences were left without power during the Ward Street outage. Currently all power has been restored.
