PIZZA DELIVERY MAN ROBBED AT KNIFE POINT IN HIGHLAND
A pizza delivery turned into an armed robbery Sunday night in Highland. According to Highland Police Chief Terry Bell, a person delivering pizza to a customer on Suppiger Lane in Highland was approached by a suspect wearing a ski mask and allegedly armed with a knife, just after 10:00 p.m. Chief Bell said the suspect made off with a small amount of money and no one was hurt. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Highland Police Department.
STOLEN CAR RECOVERED ON I-55
A car was reported stolen Friday night from the rear lot of Greenville Lumber and Landscape. According to Greenville Police Chief Lou Lorton, the car was recovered around 1:00 a.m. Monday by the Illinois State Police. The car was located on I-55 at milepost four. The investigation into the auto theft continues.
