THREE CHARGED WITH BANK ROBBERY IN LEBANON
Three men have been charged with the bank robbery that took place in Lebanon on December 19th. According to a US State’s Attorney press release Daniel Ravellette age 61 and Donald Long age 31 of Vincennes, and Zachary Richey age 23 of Lawrenceville Illinois have been charged with alleged bank robbery. The charge could carry a twenty year prison sentence and fines up to a quarter of a million dollars. It’s alleged that the three men robbed the Regional Bank in Lebanon, and the investigation included the FBI, Lebanon and O’fallon Police. There was no bond for defendants.

JESSE WHITE WINTER SAFETY
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White wants to remind everyone to celebrate the holiday season safely by not drinking and driving. If your celebrations include drinking please designate a sober driver or use public transportation. The State Police will be on patrol during the holidays in order to keep roads safe, and will be conducting DUI and seatbelt patrols. Jesse White announced that the offices and facilities of the Secretary of State are going to be closed Thursday, December 24th and Friday, December 25th For Christmas. Driver's facilities will resume regular business hours on December 28th.

GREENVILLE FIREMEN CALLED TO POLE ON FIRE
Greenville Firemen responded Thursday morning at 4:34 to a report of a pole on fire at 2030 south Fourth Street. Upon arrival, firemen reported there was no fire but a power line was down. Ameren IP was notified and sent a repair crew. Firemen remained on the scene for about an hour until Ameren arrived to make repairs.
