CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINER JOINS GRH TEAM
Greenville Regional Hospital has recently welcomed Certified Athletic Trainer Keri Currier to the sports medicine team. Currier will provide immediate care to athletes and refers serious injuries to physical therapist Doug Merrell, the manager of the Greenville Regional Hospital Rehabilitation Services Department. Currier works with coaches and parents as part of the follow-up, making recommendations as to proper courses of treatment. Sports Medicine services at Greenville Regional Hospital area available to active individual, including both competitive and recreational athletes.

GREENVILLE COLLEGE HOSTS "HOOPS FOR HAITI"
Greenville College is hosting a fundraising event called "Hoops for Haiti" during the men's and women's basketball games against Blackburn College, Wednesday, February 17 beginning at 6:00 p.m. "Hoops for Haiti" T-shirts will be available and donations will be accepted at the door, throughout both games and during creative time-out activities. Vada Guithues, age 96, of Salem and Waterloo, passed away Saturday, February 13 at Fair Oaks Nursing Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville. Friends may call Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Bond County Hospice or to the Alzheimer's foundation.

Elsie Marie File, age 91, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, February 12 at Montgomery Health Care Center.
