IRONIC CAR CRASH….BUT NO ONE HURT

It’s the definition of irony, but thankfully no one was hurt when a Bond County Sherriff’s deputy struck a deer Monday night.  The deputy was responding to another non-injury car/deer accident when a deer ran in front of his squad car.  No one was hurt but the deputies car sustained substantial damage on the front right hand side, including damage to the fender, light and hood.  The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. on Route 140, at Mt. Gillead Road.
