MORE DETAILS ON RED BALL ACCIDENT
More details have become available on the single vehicle accident on Red Ball Trail Friday night. According to the Bond County Sherriff’s department 16 year old Whitney Reymond of Greenville was traveling southbound on Red Ball Trail just south of Deer Lane when, while negotiating a turn, the driver lost control of the truck and struck a utility pole. The truck then drove through a ditch, went back on the road way and crossed to the other side. The truck then left the roadway again and flipped 2 or 3 times before striking a tree and coming to rest. Greenville firemen extricated Reymond from the truck by cutting the roof off. Reymond was taken to Greenville Regional Hospital with serious injuries and later was transported to a hospital in St. Louis.
