KASKASKIA COLLEGE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
The Kaskaskia College Board meeting will be Thursday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clinton Wedekemper Board Room. A dinner is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. with a public hearing on the budget to follow. Agenda items include approval of disbursements and payroll, treasurer’s report, budget report and President's report. The board will consider adoption of the annual budget for 2010-2011, approval to remodel and renovate the Crisp Technology Center, approval to proceed to expand the KC Education Center in Trenton, and approval of a contractor for the Greenhouse renovation.

Eleanor T. Wiegman, age 95, of Carlyle, passed away Monday, August 16 at Carlyle Healthcare Center in Carlyle. A Mass of Christian burial for 95 year-old Eleanor Wiegman will be Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Carlyle. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. at Zieren Day Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Mater Dei High School, All Saints Academy, Hospice of Southern Illinois, or the Arthritis Foundation.

Leona C. Richter, age 88, of New Baden, passed away Saturday, August 14 at Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden. A funeral Mass for 88 year-old Leona Richter will be Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Ruth W. Meyer, age 88, of New Baden, formerly of Belleville, passed away Friday, August 13. Frances L. Sussenbach, age 83 of Greenville, passed away Sunday, August 15th at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. Funeral Services for 83 year old Francis Sussenbach will be Thursday at 11am at The Greenville First Christian Church. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8pm at the church. Memorials may be made to the Intensive Care Unit at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
