IDOT MEETING PLANNED TO DISCUSS LEBANON BYPASS PROJECT
The Illinois Department of Transportation has scheduled a meeting to discuss the proposed Lebanon Bypass project, Monday, September 27, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Commons Room of Lebanon High School, located at 200 West Schuetz Street in Lebanon. The meeting will be an open-house format allowing informal sharing of your comments and input regarding the possible need for the bypass. FALL INSTRUMENTAL CONCERT AT KASKASKIA COLLEGE
The Kaskaskia College Music Department will present its annual fall instrumental concert Tuesday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jane Knight Auditorium. The concert and jazz bands will perform. A reception for patrons and performers follows the performance. The concert is free and open to the public.

Melba M. Hodapp, age 81, of Carlyle, passed away Monday, September 20 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Carlyle. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. at Zieren Day Funeral Home.
