GEOTHERMAL AND COOLING SYSTEM FOR KASKASKIA COLLEGE
Kaskaskia College was awarded a grant of more than $26,000 to help complete installation of a geothermal heating and cooling system for the college’s fitness center. This grant was funded by the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives in conjunction with the Illinois Clean Energy Committee Foundation. The program encourages the use of clean and efficient geothermal systems to heat and cool public facilities. These grants are available for any facility operated by a government or non-profit organization.

Alvin G. “Al” Warnecke, age 87, of Trenton, passed away Monday, November 29 at Breese Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Friday, at 10:00 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. Virginia B. Holten, age 91, of Trenton, passed away Monday, November 29 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland. Graveside services will be Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. at Trenton Cemetery.
