KASKASKIA COLLEGE NAMED MILITARY FRIENDLY SCHOOL
G. I. Jobs, the premier magazine for military personnel transitioning into civilian life, named Kaskaskia College a Military Friendly School for 2012. The list honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities, and trade schools doing the most to embrace America’s military service members and veterans as students. KC President Dr. Jim Underwood said, “KC is proud to be listed as a military friendly school. Making the list means Kaskaskia College is doing the right thing for our area veterans who have served our country.” The list is the go-to resource for prospective student veterans searching for schools that provide the right overall experience.
