HOSPITAL AUXILIARY HOSTS RECORD BREAKING BOOK FAIR

The 29th Annual Greenville Regional Hospital Auxiliary Book Fair was last weekend.  Mayor Alan Gaffner said the book fair set a new sales record, with proceeds from the three-day event totaling $14,676.00.  This is a 10% increase over last year’s totals and approximately a $1000.00 - $1200.00 increase over the previous record.  The auxiliary has established a relationship with a group in Indiana who supplies books for sale to Amazon at a discounted price.  The leftover books from last year’s book fair generated $832.00 online.  This brings the grant total to $15,508.00.  Gaffner said they are very grateful to the many volunteers who make this event possible.
