Mulberry Grove Superintendent Mike Gauch, Elementary Principal Annette Hartlieb, Board President Jim Quick, and several teachers attended Lobby Day Wednesday, May 15, at the State Capitol in Springfield.  Gauch said they spoke with Representative John Cavaletto and Senator Kyle McCarter concerning state funding and how much more school financial support would be cut.  Although the responses were not encouraging, the Mulberry Grove delegation carried their concerns directly to the legislators.
