Officer Ade Retires

Chris Ade, senior officer for the Greenville Police Department, has retired after more than 30 years of duty.

A retirement reception, to honor Ade, was held Friday at the police department.

Officer Ade worked his final police shift January 31.

A native of Pana, Ade started with the Greenville Police Department on January 29, 1987, and he has been the evidence and juvenile officer during his career. He received several letters of recognition for his performance as a Greenville policeman.

Ade also served on the Police Pension Board.
