The sixth annual Greenville Graffiti Car Show, on Saturday, was another big success.
Show coordinator John Goldsmith said the weather was a concern at first, but turned out to be nice. 183 cars were involved in the show, which is the second highest total in the event’s history. He said all in all it was a fantastic day and everyone had a good time.

This year’s celebrities were Barry Williams from “The Brady Bunch” television series, Eddie Deezen from the movies “Grease,” “1941” and “The Polar Express, and Tyler Dale from the TV show “American Restoration.”
A special ceremony was held at noon during the car show. Mayor Alan Gaffner read a proclamation for each guest, gave them the key to the city and declared June 17 as Barry Williams, Eddie Deezen and Tyler Dale Day in Greenville.
Many car owners already have the 2018 car show date circled on their calendar. Goldsmith said that was a nice compliment to the show and its organizers. He said many return visitors come from several hours away and it’s been fun to see the event grow.
